Definition
The EPISTEMIC canary is one of nine probe categories the runtime periodically fires to actively test an agent. A EPISTEMIC probe exercises trust factor SF-HUM and a failure carries HIGH risk. Note: the canary taxonomy is a provisional (Phase-1) governance subsystem held locally, not part of the sealed canonical spec.
